If you missed us last night, too bad for you! I interviewed Robert Egger, Founder and President of DC Central Kitchen live on BlogTalkRadio. We talked about the state of nonprofit leadership and what kind of leadership we will need going into the future. The conversation became so rich as we dipped into generational shift, social enterprise, diversity, and the debate on management vs. leadership. Robert also had some very real advice for next generation leaders. I appreciate the hour he took out of his evening to speak to us. Check it out!

Thanks so much for this! Robert is inspiring. My peers and I are working to develop a voice for young nonprofit professionals in our community. We are talking about things like career paths, fair pay, and the state of women and people of color in the sector. Cheers to you for moving forward. I am pushing behind you too!
Great interview Rosetta. I can attest to Robert's "Si Se Puede" attitude. He listened to this Mexican and came down to Austin, TX to represent! I totally agree with him that we have to get out of our nonprofit shells and into the community. That's where the action is and we need to do this if we truly want be authentic in our work.
